Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular California Beach
An aircraft soaring above a popular coastal coastline abruptly started spinning wildly, finally descending rapidly and plunging into a row of palm fronds as beachgoers watched.
Footage shared on social media show the helicopter beginning to twirl above the beach then plunging towards the border of the beach, where it gets stuck between palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the coastal road.
First Aid Information
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five individuals were rushed to the hospital including a pair who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the crash on that day.
Three people on the street were hurt. Specifics on their injuries were not yet released.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
